International Mother Language Day  


First time in Russia.
Bangladesh Students Association made a World Record From Russian Federation. First time in the world celebrated 21st February, International Mother Language Day with 27 countries. BSA organized exhibition in the premises of Saint Petersburg State Polytechnical University''s Institut of International Educational Programs building.

In this occasion, Deputy of Duma, Michael Amosov, Vice president of the IIEP, Chairperson of the Cultural sphere of the SpbSPU, Lidiya Dmitrovna Sorokina, President of the African Union Alure, Indian consule H. Sharma, representative of honorary Bangladesh consul Leonid S.

Participants presented their Language, Alphabets, Numbers. Literature, Printed Books, Newpapers, souvenirs. Some of them played their songs and music by player, Played Musical instrument. Arab students wrote names of the visitors in Arabian Language.

African participants were very much active. They showed their national dance and it was very much festivite.

Albanian participants were the most active in expression. They were very much interested to help visitors to describe their culture, language and everything.

Some Television companies were taking interviews from Mushfiqul Alam, one of the leading organiser of this program. Russian govermental Television Russia, CTO, Chanel 5 broadcast News.

Deputy M. Amosov expressed his rejoice and remebered the word in ''Muktizoddha''. He knows very well about the history of 1971.

Bangladesh Students Association is the heritage of the Freedom Fighters in 2005. All students are the ''Muktizoddha'' -said Zahid Ahmed, other member of BSA St. Petersburg to Russian Deputy of Duma.

Bangladeshi Stall was in the first number and the biggest. ''Shahid Minar''''s Miniature form made by the student of St. Petersburg State Architecture University Shazzad Hossain Monzu. It was the most attractive part of this event. Honorary guest shown their honor to the heroes by flowers in the footage of the memorial monument.

The vice rector of IIEP wished to continue 21st February every year and thanked to BSA.
